Is it Appropriate to Talk About My Faith in the Workplace? - Malissa Mackey

March 17: Is it appropriate to talk about my faith in the workplace?

We want to help you navigate the work questions that bring on the “Sunday Scaries” and the ones that keep you up at night. Listen in on this Friday morning series in Winter 2023 to gain a theological framework and learn from professionals in various fields grappling with these same issues.

Faith & Work Chicago director Malissa Mackey shared 3 big factors that keep us from talking about our faith in the workplace 1) Legal or HR ramifications, 2) Fear of what people might think or of being offensive 3) Uncertainty about what to say or how to say it. We talked about how to walk in wisdom and faith so that we don't put up a stumbling block to the Good News of Jesus Christ.

For privacy reasons, the panel portion of this session is not included in the recording.
